
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps offers a variety of employment and education opportunities for youth and young adults in various conservation fields.
Conservation Corps member positions are available to 18-25 year old young adults who want to work in the conservation fields. Work as part of a team on trail or saw projects for 9-15 weeks.The hiring process starts mid January. Please check back then to apply for this program.
Regional Conservation Corps member positions are available to 16-19 year old young adults who want to work in the conservation field. Work as part of team for four weeks in the summer on trail projects. The hiring process starts mid January. Please check back then to apply for this program.
Community Youth Corps member positions are available to 14-16 year old local youth in an entry-level youth corps program. Work in a two-week experience which includes a day-crew format and a camping-crew format, as well as like skills training and education. Service Learning Institute engages youth entering grades 6-9 in two week sessions in which they participate in a crew of 8 youth and two adult leaders performing community service projects around Routt County. Historic Preservation Crew member positions are available to 17-21 year old local youth who want to work preserving historical sites in Routt County. HPC members work in a day-crew format for 8-10 weeks and have opportunities to transition into the conservation corps program for additional employment opportunities through RMYC.
