RMYC Now Hiring for a Veterans Saw Crew!
RMYC is looking for Veterans ages 18-30 to take part in a summer chainsaw crew! Participants will receive chainsaw certification (S212) along with a firefighting red card (S130/S190). This is a great experience for Veterans who are interested in pursuing careers in resource management, wildland firefighting and other outdoor related fields. Read Full Position Description. Crew Member- As a Crew Member you will spend the summer with a crew of 9-10 people under the direction of a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leader. Crew members will start work in mid-June and work through at least mid-August. Opportunities to work on a fall crew through early October may be available. Read full position description.

Garfield County Crew Member- If you are between the ages of 18-22 and reside in Garfield County, check out this crew for the summer of 2012. Members will work on trail projects and chainsaw projects throughout Garfield County. Read the full position description.
Regional Conservation Crew Member- Crew members between the ages of 16-18 can be part of an RCC crew. Crews will last only 4 weeks, from mid June- mid July and then a second session from mid July- mid August. Read full position description.

Assistant Crew Leader- As an ACL, you will provide vital support to your Leader in the field. Main duties include crew meal planning and educational planning. ACL’s are the main facilitator for the RMYC educational program called Seed. Read full position description.
