
Lynda Stahl, President, lends her expertise to RMYC as a retired middle and high school science teacher. Lynda grew up in Colorado and holds a BS in Biology from Colorado State and a MA in education from Adams State. She volunteers at the Yampa Valley Medical Center emergency room and with Integrated Community. When not volunteering, Lynda loves to cross-country ski, garden, hike, bike, golf, cook and read. She is married with two grown daughters.
Kent Foster, Vice President, had a lengthy relationship with RMYC before joining the board in early 2009. Kent has overseen countless projects with our crew members, as the Recreation Specialist for the Hahn Peak Bears Ears Ranger District for the Routt Medicine Bow National Forest. With over 20 years working with the USFS, Kent's hands-on knowledge is an invaluable asset to RMYC. When Kent is not wearing his green uniform, he can usually be found at ice rink, coaching and playing hockey.
Sarah "Sally" Claassen, is a past President who joined the RMYC board in 2007 and is President. She has been in general law practice in Steamboat Springs since 1982. Sally's distinctions and community service include: Steamboat Arts Council Board of Directors; Founding member, Advocates Against Battering & Abuse; Horizons Board of Directors President, 1993-1994; 14th Judicial District Judicial Performance Commission; 14th Judicial District Judicial Nominating Commission; Northwest Colorado Bar Association President's Award 1994; Steamboat Springs Schools Growth Commission Member; Yampa Valley Medical Center Ethics Committee member and has volunteered with the Horizons Ski Program for many years. Sally is married, has two girls and one fat cat.
Greg Henion, Treasurer, has served as RMYC board treasurer since March of 2001. Since then, Greg has overseen all RMYC financial matters as well as serving on the Executive Committee. Greg been a partner in the CPA firm of Tredway, Henion, Palmquist and Kusy for 21 years and is a certified CPA. Greg also serves as the treasurer and long-time member of the advisory board of the Friends of the Yampa, a Yampa River advocacy organization. When Greg is not busy with his accounting firm, he can be found in Colorado's backcountry skiing or rowing his raft through any whitewater in the region.
Paul Sachs, Secretary, has served on the RMYC board since 2008. He began practicing law in 1990 as a clerk to a Federal District Judge. For six years Paul was the Director of the Yampa Valley Legacy Education Initiative. He then transitioned into work with The Orton Family Foundation. In 2005, Paul returned to the full-time practice of law. Paul's professional affiliations include: Municipal Court Judge for the City of Steamboat Springs since 1994; Board Member and Secretary of the Emerald Mountain Partnership since 2004; Board Member and Vice President of Steamboat Springs Nordic Council since 2003; Director of the Steamboat Springs Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K since 1999; President of the Steamboat Springs Education Fund Educational Excellence Commission since 1995. Paul is also the proud father of three beautiful girls.
Ron Famiglietti, MD, has been a board member since 2010. A local pediatrician, he founded Pediatrics Of Steamboat Springs in 1999. He has served as the Chief of Staff at Yampa Valley Medical Center and served on their Board from 2004-2005. In his free time he enjoys both mountain and road cycling, telemark skiing, acoustic guitar, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and their 6 year-old son , Primo.
Cathy Wiedemer, has been a board member since 2004 and is a former board President. Cathy brings over 13 years of Public Relations experience to RMYC. As the Public Relations Manager for the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, Cathy was instrumental with planning numerous special events including the Nordic Combined, Alpine and Freestyle World Cups, Cowboy Downhill and annual Weather Summit. Cathy now has her own Public Relations firm, First Pitch Communications. She is an avid telemark skier, cyclist, and hockey player who loves to garden and spoil her golden retriever, Bella.
Melrose Kuusinen, has lived and worked in the Yampa Valley for 37 years. She joined the RMYC board in 2010. Previous board positions include the Tread of Pioneers Museum; worked on passage of Mill Levy and past president, Perry-Mansfield; involved in purchase of camp from Stephens College, and Advocates Building Peaceful Communities. Her passions include spending time with her family, playing hockey, and skiing.

Mary Ann Duffey, Advisory Member, is a past President and has been on the RMYC board since 2005. Mary Ann's civic duties are vast and include: Past Chairman of the Board of Strings Music Festival in Steamboat Springs and Past Chairman of the Board of Partners in Larimer County. Mary Ann has sponsored and served on the committee for the Literary Connection in Cheyenne and has served on the Board of Visitors for the Arts and Sciences College of the University of Wyoming. Mary Ann splits her time between Steamboat Springs and Seattle where she and her husband John are experiencing the joys of owning a vintage sea vessel.
