Project Partners
We partner with community organizations, public land management agencies, non-profits, private land owners, foundations, state agencies, county governments and municipalities throughout Northwest Colorado and Wyoming to engage youth in the outdoors and complete priority conservation projects.
White River National Forest
The United States Forest Service's mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the Nation's forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations. RMYC partners with the Dillon, Eagle/Holy Cross, Aspen/Sopris, Rifle and Rio Blanco Ranger Districts of the White River National Forest.
Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest & Thunder Basin Grassland
The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest has partnered with RMYC for the past 26 years. RMYC partners with the Hahns-Peak/Bears Ears, Yampa, Parks, Douglas and Laramie Ranger Districts to complete priority trail maintenance and construction, wild land fire fuels reduction and many other priority conservation projects.
Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest
RMYC partners with the Hot Sulpher, Boulder and Clear Creek Ranger Districts of the A/R.
Bridger-Teton National Forest
The Pinedale Ranger District has been a long time partner of RMYC. Through the years we have completed many backcountry trail projects in the Wind River Range and on the Continental Divide Trail.
Northwest CO District
The Northwest Colorado District manages about 3.15 million surface acres and is comprised of the Kremmling, Little Snake and White River field offices. The District includes the upper Colorado River corridor along with the White and Yampa rivers. RMYC has partnered with these field offices since 1993, completing a variety of recreation, fuels and GIS projects through our various program models.
